Thank you for this.  My father was indeed a special person.  I miss him a lot.

You might not have noticed that the date on my eulogy was January 2007, so it has been two years since I preached this, and we have had some time to learn to get by without having my Dad in our lives.  Still, it took me two years before I could bring myself to read this again, and put it on my blog.

May the Lord bless and be with all of you in this time of loss, surround your Mother with the comfort of His Holy Presence.  May the Lord help all Dads be such godly husbands and fathers.
