Dear Bill,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father.
I too am one of the people that was a permanent "fixture at
your house. I fondly remember your father always calling
me Pamella. I was "best friends" with Joann for junior high/
high school years. Your mom and dad always welcomed me on
many trips waterskiing, New Mexico, Pueblo to your grandparents
house and spend the nights etc. I received a Christmas card
from your Mom and had no idea about your Dad and his struggles.
I too lost my Dad last year and I know the pain and sadness
yet happiness because we know where our loved ones are. My
Dad always told me that he wanted to be "taken out by his feet"
from 475 Winona Ct.. I had the greatest gift of taking care of
my Dad during the last days of his life. What a gift....I still
make your Dad's green chile recipe to this day and it is one of
my families favorites! Pam
